Vocal Rehabilitation
A strategic approach to vocal recovery

A Note from Alexandra
My training and experience working with the voice is both broad and deep, and it spans my career as a professional opera singer, professor of voice, founding artistic director of an opera company, private voice teacher for over thirty years, adjudicator, consultant, and national public speaker on the topic of vocal health. I have successfully helped a number of clients heal their voices.
The health of your voice is very important. I take a strategic approach to voice care; I recognize that your voice is part of you, your whole body, and is shaped by your experiences. To optimize it, we will focus on much more than the two square inches in your throat. The questions I’ll ask you in our first appointment will uncover the factors contributing to what’s bothering you with your voice. Together, we’ll dig deep into what’s keeping your voice from being in effortless balance, and we’ll make it right. Clients often see immediate improvement.
My ultimate goal is to make you independent. We will start with six sessions. That said, I’ll be here for as long as you need me.
The assessment is best conducted in person in my home studio, but we have determined that virtual sessions would be effective and convenient for you, that is an option.
